Identify a Pokémon card by its number
Every Pokémon card has a number at the bottom, like 4/102. Type it in and we'll show you which card it is — with a picture, the set and a link to its price. Works for 20,635 English cards across 176 sets.
Find it by set total
The number after the slash is the set's printed total. Pick yours:
Where to find the number
On cards from 1999 to 2003 the number is at the bottom right, under the artwork box. From the EX era onward it moved to the bottom left, and modern Scarlet & Violet and Mega Evolution cards print it next to a small regulation letter (H, I or J). If the first number is bigger than the second — say 215/191 — you have a secret rare.

Questions people ask
How do I identify a Pokémon card?
Look at the bottom of the card for a number like 4/102. The second number tells you the set — type the whole number here and we'll show you the card. On older cards the number is on the right; on newer cards it's on the left, next to the regulation mark.
What if my card has letters in the number?
Promo cards (like SWSH050 or SVP 012) and subsets (TG05, GG30) use letters. Search the card name instead, or open the set from the full list of sets.
Why do two cards share the same number?
Several sets can print the same total. The set symbol next to the number tells them apart — each set on the results page is shown with its pictures to help you match it.
