Vintage Pokémon cards: a collector's guide to the WOTC era
Short answer: "vintage" usually means the Wizards of the Coast era (1999–2003). Holos, 1st Edition copies and cards in top condition are the most sought after.

1st Edition and shadowless
Early print runs of many WOTC sets carry a small "Edition 1" stamp on the left under the art. Base Set also has a "shadowless" print with no drop shadow to the right of the art box. Both are scarcer than later prints.
What to check
- The holo pattern and print quality (fakes are common).
- Whitening on the back edges.
- Scratches on the holo.
Pully Value is for adult collectors (18+). Prices on each card page come from public marketplace data and aren't financial advice — check recent UK sold listings before you buy or sell.
