Reading attack damage: what +, × and − mean
The number on the right of an attack is its damage. Sometimes there's a symbol after it.
| Symbol | Meaning | Standard attacks |
|---|---|---|
| None (e.g. 120) | Does exactly that much (before Weakness and Resistance) | 1738 |
| + (e.g. 60+) | Does that much, plus more if the attack's condition is met | 284 |
| × (e.g. 30×) | Multiply by something — like the number of coin heads or Energy | 172 |
| − (e.g. 120−) | Does that much, minus something — often damage already on the attacker | 6 |
| No number | An effect-only attack | 461 |
Always read the attack's text to see exactly what changes the number. Our charts use the printed number, so + and × attacks can do more than shown.
