Zapdos Pokémon cards
Zapdos appears on 7 cards in the newest Pokémon sets, mostly as a Lightning-type Pokémon. Here's every new Zapdos card, which sets to look in, and the rarest one to hunt for.
Lightning Pokémon are full of electricity, just like Pikachu. Their Energy symbol is a yellow lightning bolt.
How does Zapdos evolve?
On its cards, Zapdos doesn't evolve from or into another Pokémon.
The rarest new Zapdos card
The rarest is Zapdos ex 202/165 from Scarlet & Violet 151, a Special Illustration Rare card. Two gold stars. Big, detailed pictures of the most powerful Pokémon and characters — some of the hardest cards to pull.
Strongest and smallest
The Zapdos card with the most HP (hit points) is Zapdos ex from Scarlet & Violet 151 with 200 HP. The one with the least is Zapdos from 30th Celebration with 120 HP. More HP means a Pokémon can take more damage before it's knocked out.
Zapdos has 3 “ex” cards in the newest sets. Pokémon ex are big, powerful cards — but if one is knocked out, your opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one.
