Tyranitar Pokémon cards
Tyranitar appears on 8 cards in the newest Pokémon sets, mostly as a Darkness-type Pokémon. Here's every new Tyranitar card, which sets to look in, and the rarest one to hunt for.
Darkness Pokémon are sneaky and like the shadows. Their Energy symbol is dark.
How does Tyranitar evolve?
Tyranitar evolves from Pupitar.
The rarest new Tyranitar card
The rarest is Tyranitar 222/193 from Paldea Evolved, a Illustration Rare card. One gold star. These show a Pokémon in a beautiful scene, like a painting.
Strongest and smallest
The Tyranitar card with the most HP (hit points) is Tyranitar ex from Prismatic Evolutions with 340 HP. The one with the least is Dark Tyranitar from 30th Celebration: Classic Collection with 120 HP. More HP means a Pokémon can take more damage before it's knocked out.
Tyranitar has 3 “ex” cards in the newest sets. Pokémon ex are big, powerful cards — but if one is knocked out, your opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one.
