Metagross Pokémon cards
Metagross appears on 7 cards in the newest Pokémon sets, mostly as a Metal-type Pokémon. Here's every new Metagross card, which sets to look in, and the rarest one to hunt for.
Metal Pokémon are made of steel or covered in armour. Their Energy symbol is grey.
How does Metagross evolve?
Metagross evolves from Metang.
The rarest new Metagross card
The rarest is Steven's Metagross ex 289/217 from Ascended Heroes, a Special Illustration Rare card. Two gold stars. Big, detailed pictures of the most powerful Pokémon and characters — some of the hardest cards to pull.
Strongest and smallest
The Metagross card with the most HP (hit points) is Steven's Metagross ex from Ascended Heroes with 340 HP. The one with the least is Metagross from 30th Celebration: Classic Collection with 100 HP. More HP means a Pokémon can take more damage before it's knocked out.
Metagross has 2 “ex” cards in the newest sets. Pokémon ex are big, powerful cards — but if one is knocked out, your opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one.
