Gengar evolves from Haunter. It also has 4 Mega Evolution cards — Mega Pokémon are extra powerful versions.
The rarest new Gengar card
The rarest is Gengar ex 154/128 from 30th Celebration, a Special Illustration Rare card. Two gold stars. Big, detailed pictures of the most powerful Pokémon and characters — some of the hardest cards to pull.
Strongest and smallest
The Gengar card with the most HP (hit points) is Mega Gengar ex from Ascended Heroes with 350 HP. The one with the least is Gengar from 30th Celebration: Classic Collection with 130 HP. More HP means a Pokémon can take more damage before it's knocked out.
Gengar has 8 “ex” cards in the newest sets. Pokémon ex are big, powerful cards — but if one is knocked out, your opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one.
