Ho-oh Pokémon cards
Ho-oh appears on 8 cards in the newest Pokémon sets, mostly as a Fire-type Pokémon. Here's every new Ho-oh card, which sets to look in, and the rarest one to hunt for.
Fire Pokémon are hot and fiery. Their Energy symbol is a red flame.
How does Ho-oh evolve?
On its cards, Ho-oh doesn't evolve from or into another Pokémon.
The rarest new Ho-oh card
The rarest is Ethan's Ho-Oh ex 239/182 from Destined Rivals, a Hyper Rare card. Three gold stars. Shiny gold cards, and one of the rarest kinds in a set.
Strongest and smallest
The Ho-oh card with the most HP (hit points) is Ethan's Ho-Oh ex from Ascended Heroes with 230 HP. The one with the least is Ho-Oh from 30th Celebration with 130 HP. More HP means a Pokémon can take more damage before it's knocked out.
Ho-oh has 5 “ex” cards in the newest sets. Pokémon ex are big, powerful cards — but if one is knocked out, your opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one.
