Charizard Pokémon cards
Charizard appears on 16 cards in the newest Pokémon sets, mostly as a Fire-type Pokémon. Here's every new Charizard card, which sets to look in, and the rarest one to hunt for.
Fire Pokémon are hot and fiery. Their Energy symbol is a red flame.
How does Charizard evolve?
Charizard evolves from Charmeleon. It also has 6 Mega Evolution cards — Mega Pokémon are extra powerful versions.
The rarest new Charizard card
The rarest is Mega Charizard Y ex 294/217 from Ascended Heroes, a Mega Hyper Rare card. The top rarity of the Mega Evolution sets. Very hard to find!
Strongest and smallest
The Charizard card with the most HP (hit points) is Mega Charizard Y ex from Ascended Heroes with 360 HP. The one with the least is Charizard from 30th Celebration: Classic Collection with 120 HP. More HP means a Pokémon can take more damage before it's knocked out.
Charizard has 15 “ex” cards in the newest sets. Pokémon ex are big, powerful cards — but if one is knocked out, your opponent takes two Prize cards instead of one.
